The merger/integration of two companies required an aggressive cutover strategy with no pre-merger access to carve out financials for the industrial segment.

The merger/integration of two companies required an aggressive cutover strategy with no pre-merger access to carve out financials for the industrial segment.

Project Highlights
Over a 10 month period, the project team led the conversions of over 160 operating units from the Oracle Hyperion landscape and 50 operating units from acquiring entity to a cloned Oracle Hyperion consolidation and planning system
The approach taken considered timing of the merger and the newly formed companies requirement to consolidate and report financials for its first 10-Q
Integration and governance of the two legacy environments included the acquiring entities SAP BPC system
Additional phases of the project include removal of legacy Hyperion environment (Clone), combined forecast and budgeting and direct integration with source system
